    Assets and Repairs Manager, up to £52,976 – 28 days holiday, agile working

    Capital Letters is a housing organisation that is entering an exciting period of growth. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and ambitious Assets and Repairs manager to join our Housing and Growth Team.

    Working closely with our Head of Housing and Growth; you will be responsible for leading on all asset and repairs aspects. We are looking for someone to create an exemplar service in repairs, voids, and planned maintenance services.

    This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to create something from the beginning, who loves to solve problems and take ownership of complex issues.

    This is an exciting, fast-paced and challenging role which will focus on leading a multi-disciplinary team to delivery excellence and manage contracts to ensure effective and efficient delivery to Capital Letters’ requirements.

    Key duties and responsibilities:

      • Assist the Head of Housing and Growth with the development of policies, procedures and strategies relating to all aspects of Asset Management and Repairs
      • Procure, negotiate, manage and monitor all contracts and contractors.
      • Take ownership and responsibility for any service-related legal disrepair cases, complaints and queries from customers, ensuring a positive, professional and efficient customer experience.
      • Ensure Capital Letters are compliant with Health and Safety responsibilities.
      • Develop an asset management strategy and lead on its implementation across the business.

    The successful applicant will be a qualified building surveyor (RICS qualified) and have a degree or relevant equivalent training or experience.
